CHARDON, OHIO, September 2 - The arts are making a triumphant return to Northeast Ohio. The Geauga Theater, which was shuttered in March of 2020, will reopen under new management. Built in 1939, the 292-seat Geauga Theater is an art deco treasure nestled on Chardon’s quaint, walkable square. Thrive’s programming at the venue will be three-fold: live music, musical theater, and classic cinema. Thrive will generate much of the entertainment staged at the Geauga Theater, but will also host outside acts: bands, orchestras, dance companies, comedians, and more.
